Splitscreen Westfalia buses are regarded as one of the best buses out there. Just incase you think differently we thought we’d show you Marc Cartwright’s bus from the RSVP club.

The interior is framed by the bus. With a large seating area which folds out the become a 3/4 double bed. A slim wardrobe is tucked in the side of the bus. Marc has placed a vintage cooler where the kitchen unit normal is to make more living space when camping. Many people do this. A table is located on the side panel plus on the opening doors.

Safari windows allow summer cruising to look cool as well as being done in a degree of comfort. Just don’t expect your hair to be hassle free on arrival!

Original electric hook-up points are often found on o.g buses but many people do fit 240v electrics in addition to the old wiring. The joy with these vehicles is that there are so many hidden spaces you can hide all your wiring until you need to use it.

Marc’s bus has some serious patina including some bullet holes. Don’t be fooled though. Even seriously patina heavy buses can be serious campers suitable for big road trips across Europe- sometimes even further!

Further storage can be found at the back with an overhead locker. Perfect for keeping your pants in when camping!

Safaris open, beer in the cooler, pants in the locker and your ready to go!
